How to add emails to Outlook for mobile


In this section, you’ll find step-by-step instructions for adding email accounts to the Microsoft Outlook app on your mobile device, whether you’re using an iPhone, iPad, or Android device. These straightforward guides are tailored for Hostingly users, ensuring a seamless email setup experience.


  • A mailbox configured within your Hostingly cPanel account.
  • Server settings for your mailbox obtained from cPanel.


Getting Server Settings:

  • Log in to your cPanel.
  • Select “Email Accounts.”
  • Click “Connect Devices” for the desired email account.
  • Note the username, incoming, and outgoing server settings for later.



  • Open the Outlook app on your mobile device.
  • If it’s your first time using the app, or you haven’t added any email accounts, open Outlook and start from Step 3.
  • If you are already using Outlook with other accounts, follow these steps to add a new account:
  • Click on an existing account’s initial to open the sidebar.
  • Click the Gear icon to open Settings.
  • In settings, click “Add Account” and then “Add Email Account.”
  • Type the email address you want to add and click “Add Account.”
  • Outlook should autodetect the email server as IMAP. Enter your email account password, Display Name, and Description, then click “Sign in.”
  • If Outlook doesn’t detect IMAP, configure it manually using the settings we noted down earlier and select IMAP, then enter your password to continue.
  • Your email account will be added, and messages on the server will start syncing to the client.
