Understanding the Options:
At the top of the Email Migrator page, you’ll find several options that allow you to tailor your migration process to your specific needs. Let’s clarify what each of these options does:
- Just Verbose (No Real Sync): This option provides detailed information and logs without performing any actual synchronization.
- Just Checks Credentials: Use this option to validate and ensure the correctness of your login credentials without executing a full sync.
- Just Presents Folder Sizes: Selecting this option will display the sizes of folders within your email accounts, helping you gauge the space required for migration.
- Just Create Folders: This option allows you to create the folder structure in the destination mailbox without moving any messages.
- IMPORTANT: You do not need to select any of these options if you are ready to sync an entire mailbox.
Additionally, there is an option to “Show/Hide Extra Parameters.” When activated, this option reveals two additional fields:
- Strict Sync (Deletes Messages on Destination Mailbox): Enabling this option will delete messages on the destination mailbox that do not exist in the source mailbox, ensuring a complete sync.
- Sub Folders: Use this option if you want to specifically sync subfolders instead of the entire mailbox.
Completing the Main Fields:

Below the buttons, you’ll find a progress bar that displays the status of the migration. The sync console provides real-time information about the synchronisation process, while the abort console allows you to halt the operation if necessary.
Reviewing the Log:
